Our client is looking for an experienced individual to join their Prague team, focusing on software testing for advanced biometric systems like fingerprint and face recognition technologies. The position covers all stages of the test lifecycle for diverse software components.
As a QA Team Lead, you will manage a team of Software QA Engineers to maintain high-quality standards. Responsibilities include developing and managing automated QA tests primarily using Python, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, and collaborating with Software Engineering Managers to coordinate QA activities. You will also plan and allocate team resources, monitor project progress, and establish team objectives, goals, and quality metrics.
Požadujeme
Requirements:
- Experience leading a software QA team
- Experience creating automated QA tests
- Proficient in Python and ideally other languages (C, C++, C#)
- Expertise in modern test methodologies, techniques, and quality metrics for both manual and automated QA
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments
- Familiar with various automated QA frameworks across different software types (firmware, SDKs, mobile apps, servers)
- Bug/defect tracking, code repositories, build systems (e.g., Jenkins), and test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
- Understanding of the SW development lifecycle and Agile methodology
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with C, C++, C#, Android, and iOS
- Experience with Windows driver qualification (WHQL) and testing PC peripherals
- Background in biometric system development
