Technical Project Leader - Automotive

You can boost our strong competence in Active Chassis and Propulsion Systems as a Technical Project Leader. You will be responsible for technical aspects of the project in the area of active chassis and EV powertrain systems. Example applications range from torque vectoring / all-wheel-drive, air spring, active dampers, to various vehicle state observers or trajectory following controllers. The development projects vary from the early stage concepts, that are implemented as prototypes, to full series production software where the software quality and safety standards play an important role. Finally, we also support the calibration process of algorithms that we have designed / developed in the prototype vehicles. Our projects are taking place all over the world for variety of challenging and unique applications. Do not loose opportunity to join our international team.

Tasks
- Responsibility for the technical project aspects from kick-off to the closure
- Setting up guidelines and project plans according to software development and functional safety standards
- Support cross-competence team interactions with company specialist engineers
- Planning development activities
- Close cooperation with other project teams and suppliers
- Implementation of algorithms in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment
- Writing of specifications for development of software components
- Design of control algorithms in the field of active chassis systems and electric vehicle powertrains systems
- Testing and documentation of software components
- Design of concepts and presentation of the results

Požadujeme

Requirements
- Degree with technical focus in Information Technologies, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering or in relevant educational background

Professional experience
- Previous work experience in the field of e-mobility (control of powertrain of an electric vehicle, control of active chassis systems) and automotive electronics (control units, buses, communication protocols, diagnostics)
- Knowledge of development standards according to (A)SPICE, ISO26262, MISRA
- Knowledge of automotive development tools from dSPACE/Vector/ETAS
- Good knowledge of the MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW environment and other MATLAB toolboxes
- Project management skills (PRINCE2, PMI) and experience is an advantage
- Experience with agile methods is an advantage
- Knowledge of chassis systems and / or vehicle dynamics is an advantage
- Knowledge of other programming languages (python, C++) is an advantage
- Good command of English and/or German
