As a Senior Scala Developer, you will be contributing to various projects spanning across critical technical deliveries, regulatory projects and platform enhancements requested by the product owner or business users. You will be working closely with the Developers, Business Analysts, Architects and Project Managers across all regions and business clusters to deliver robust design and technical solutions in a controlled, transparent and risk managed fashion.
What will you be doing?
- Taking on responsibility and ownership of new feature development of strategic Treasury Data Platform built on Hadoop, Scala, Spark
- Ensuring you are familiar with industry trends and that your knowledge is current
- You will be supporting your colleagues and sharing your expertise across teams
- Solving complicated problems in an elegant way
- You will be working on all aspects of analysis, design, implementation and deployment of all software, related to the core data applications
- Focusing on good code quality and high test coverage and actively participate in code reviews
- Building robust systems and taking responsibility their stability in production
