Complex General Ledger Accountant

Would you like to become a part of a small team which operates in the area of a global engineering industry? The international company based also in Prague is looking for a new colleague who would fulfil the General Ledger position.

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

- Maintaining accounting records to ensure the integrity of the financial ledgers
- Keeping track of all intercompany balances at month-end
- Full understanding of all accounts and inputs
- Dealing with the inventory accounting
- Completing all fixed asset accounting
- Providing all assigned general ledger account reconciliations
- Processing VAT globally at the company
- Reporting


- Minimum 2 years of experience in the complex accounting
- Advanced command of English and Czech language for daily communication
- Previous experience working with SAP
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of IFRS or Czech Accounting Standards are beneficial
- Previous experience with completing VAT report, Intrastat and Sales list
- Attention to detail and independence
