Pracovní náplň
The FPGA Engineer is responsible for the design and development of FPGA HDL modules for Audio/Video processing, data communication and related system functions related to medical grade video distribution and processing systems. Responsible for integrity of the designs and quality of the products. FPGA Engineer is also responsible for providing realistic estimates, listing assumptions and risks to the project schedule and executing its tasks per provided commitments.
1. Design, implementation, test and verification of video processing and related Verilog HDL modules according to system requirements and medical industry standard procedures
2. Development of optional C control software for internal or external controllers
3. Authoring of supporting design documentation to a high quality standard.
4. Development of test harnesses to verify developed items using pass/fail test benches
5. Integration of the developed firmware on the target hardware with other system components and software.
6. Providing progress and technical updates to the project leader or manager.
7. Providing project schedule estimates and technical risk identification.
8. Translating and implementing high level requirements into an effective FPGA design under the supervision of Sr. FPGA designer.
