Job description:
- To participate on managing of an existing Infrastructure and support the creation of a new hosting strategy based on Virtual Computing (e.g. on VCE vBlock)
- Consider the proposals from the vendor and the requirements from the customer side
- Prepare plans for handover the VMware ESX hosting service from a vendor to internal service (and partly to another vendor).
- Preparation of migration to vBlock (new service): migration plans, review of the current documentation and its customization to the new status, assurance the service is aligned to the company standards and processes
Requirements:
- About 5 years of experience in Service Management deep technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of Internet Web Hosting Infrastructures and Intranet Hosting based on VMWare ESX.
- Technical knowledge of Solaris, Apache, Weblogic, sendmail and Oracle DB, security overview is a great advantage
- Expe
