Pracovní náplň
The Software Development Team Leader will lead software development team developing software for our new medical products. Our typical product which is based on out custom HW typically contains all the levels of software ranging from FPGA code, via various firmwares, up to the Linux based backend and frontend with essential part of web-based GUI development. The Software Development Team Lead will provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship. Will drive people development and continuous improvement in team operation and processes. The Project Manager reports directly to Director of Engineering.
1. Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
2. Effectively lead team and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence.
3. Manage people development and team competencies by identifying strengths and weaknesses of team members and suitably driving people and team development in alignment with changing technologies and required capabilities for successful delivery on development projects.
4. Drive continuous improvement to achieve high standards of software quality within the team by driving best practices and habits.
5. Drive continuous improvement in the area of effort estimation, schedule compliance and status reporting. Drive initiatives enabling data driven estimations for SW scope of the project.
6. Review Customer proposals, internal PRDs and support cross-functional teams to achieve product goals.
