General Characteristics
You will be a member of the Shared services Centre and you will lead the accounts payable accounting team. You will be critical to the accuracy of the ledger and to the management and statutory accounts.
The Accounts Payable (“AP”) function includes the activities that follow procurement and terminate at the processing and recording of a payment for goods and services and the related expense in the General Ledger.
Activities
- Assure Accounts payable operations
- Implement best practice to ensure standardized procedures
- Accurate coordination of master data maintenance on Oracle / SAP system
- Assure closing operations and outbound interfaces (e.g. T&E, General Ledger etc.)
- Performs and leads business process improvement projects
- Management reports
- Be an active part of a hiring process
- Ensure collection of rebates on timely manner
