As an independent General Ledger Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of accountants.
Main tasks:
* Resolve complex accounting issues and work hand in hand with the Finance Manager
* Ensure timely completion of monthly check lists of each accountants
* Balance sheet reconciliations reviews and approvals
* Maintain adherence to statutory reporting rules and tax requirements
* Communication with internal and external auditors
* Maintain all accounting and finance procedures up to date
* Perform system security approvals and payment authorizations
* Inspire, motivate, assist, encourage and guide team-members on a daily basis
* Identify and evaluate improvement of individuals and team performance
* Compliance to internal controls in accordance with the company's processes
