Responsibilities:
- Manage collection activities to maximize cash receipts
- Participation in various projects
- Develop appropriate client/customer relationship
- Resolve customers queries - contact them regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment
- Reviewing control reports - maintain accurate records about the customer payment status
- Update/create process documentation
- Issue dunning letters to overdue accounts
- Payment reviews and approvals, coordination of payment runs
- Recommend that accounts be shifted to a collection agency and bad debt write-offs
- Coordinate customer credit changes with the finance and sales departments
